Gail Ercoli - Artistic Director
Biography
Gail Ercoli is a graduate of Marywood College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She did graduate work in dance at American University in Washington, D.C. where she studied with the Jose Limon, Erick Hawkins, and Murray Louis Dance Companies and The American Dance Machine. Locally she studied with Alexi Ramov, Jimmy Sutton, and Constance Reynolds, who she considers her mentor. She studied ballroom dancing at Dance With Me Studios under the direction of Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
As artistic director of her studio for over 30 years, Gail has trained and mentored dancers who have worked professionally in the Broadway Musical National Tours of Cats, A Chorus Line, Singin' in the Rain, On Your Toes, Tommy, Jesus Christ Superstar and Starlight Express. Her dancers have also performed in stage productions in Las Vegas, Aruba, Reno and Los Angeles. They have performed in films, television shows, commercials and music videos. Several have gone on to open their own studios. In addition to her studio, Gail has worked extensively as a dance instructor and choreographer. In her career, Gail has trained more than 20 professional dancers, choreographers, and teachers.
